"If you can't find what you're looking for, make it yourself." I think that's a phrase..
For years, I've taken to YouTube when I run into issues with my projects. Most of the time, I'm there to revive my own knowledge of a skill that I once knew. I'm not looking for a thorough explanation that covers all scenarios. I just want them to show me, and fast. I get impatient scrubbing through a chatty 10 minute video to find the one detail I'm missing.
So, I'm going to make a series of video tutorials for people like me who want the cliff notes, the quick summary, the "just show me" video explaining basic skills.
The first video of this series is on basting, a basic hand stitch that comes in very handy when sewing many layers of fabric.
I'm going to do my best to post a new Impatient Tutorial video every week until I exhaust my own expertise.
More things to come on my YouTube channel, stay tuned!
